Hello, my name is Hannah Bayer, I am a local of Karratha and Dampier for 30+ years. I am a mum of 2 young neurodivergent children, who attend school locally. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychological Science (Honours) through Deakin University online. My passions include understanding behaviour and how trauma and how childhood experiences can impact our daily lives. I also value self-care, whether that involves enjoying a long shower or taking a pleasant walk along Dampier foreshore. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to study while working at Waves WA as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner. I am dedicated to advocating for neurodivergent individuals, especially as someone who was diagnosed as an adult and understands how challenging it can be navigating life in the Pilbara.
